Mordecai Martin is a 5th generation Jewish New Yorker, a translator of Yiddish and Hebrew poetry and prose, and a writer. He lives in Mexico City with his wife, child and cat. His translation work and original writing has appeared in Asymptote Journal, ANMLY, Honey Literary, Timber Journal, the tiny magazine, and Catapult, among other publications.
