Silk &amp; Ink Magazine is offering a $500 creative grant for a project or organization (doesn’t have to be 501(c)(3)) that centers around Asian identity, culture, or storytelling -- any medium is welcome, including novel, poetry, painting, zine, and more. 

Silk &amp; Ink Magazine is offering <b>a $500 creative grant </b>for a project or organization (doesn’t have to be 501(c)(3)) that centers around<b> Asian identity, culture, or storytelling </b>-- any medium is welcome, including novel, poetry, painting, zine, and more. <div><br><div><b>Note: </b>the submitter/organization head does not need to be ethnically Asian.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Applications close July 20th, 2026. </b>5 finalists will be announced and notified, and finalists will be invited to introduce their project or organization at our Grant Announcement Event on August 1st, 2026, where the winner will be announced live.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Our AI Policy: </b>There should be no AI in the creative process (from start to finish), including the responses on the Google Form.</div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b>Author’s rights: </b>Authors will maintain full ownership of their work. However, silk and ink magazines have the rights, with the creative’s explicit permission, to share their work for promotional purposes on social media, with full credit given to the creative.</div></div>
