Serviette is a magazine about all things food: where it comes from, how it’s grown, who transforms it and how it’s a huge part of our daily lives. If you’re a writer, photographer or illustrator with a great idea about how what we eat is mixed up with culture, creation, science and history, send it our way!<div><br></div><div>For Issue 09, our theme is “Food is War, Food is Peace,” and we want to know where that takes you. We’ve already started working on this issue, including a feature about basmati rice’s fraught journey from paddies to pantries, a photo essay about a falconer hunting with her American kestrel to fight the spread of invasive starlings, and a Q&amp;A with buddhist nun and chef Jeongkwan Snim.
