Raiya is a youth-run magazine exploring imagination and identity. We publish fiction, poetry, critiques, essays and the visual arts.

Raiya is a curation of both the literary and the visual arts. Guided by young editors and contributors, we aim to create a space for bold, original work that sparks curiosity and inspires new ideas. Emerging writers and artists are encouraged to submit their work for upcoming issues and join our growing creative community. 

Alongside our magazine, we feature a digital art gallery, The Atrium, showcasing emerging visual artists from around the world.

Aurora Chaser
(/əˈrɔːrə ˈtʃeɪsər/, noun)

One who pursues the fleeting, luminous moments of life: rare flashes of beauty, justice, and truth that illuminate the soul and the world.

Etymology: Derived from Aurora, the Roman goddess of dawn, whose presence renewed the sky with light. Myth tells she chases the sun tirelessly, bringing colour to darkness.

The Aurora Chaser of today carries that same fire — a restless, intuitive seeker who resists erasure, dismantles imposed narratives, and refuses to let history or power dictate their horizon. They reclaim space, knowledge, and beauty stolen by centuries of oppression.
