You are welcome to include a cover letter and as much superfluous self-indulgence as you want, but it will be filtered through multiple editors and the first person to see your attributes will either make fun of you to the next editor or change the information just enough to make it sound normal.

Formatting
Any font, any spacing, any size, as long as we have received your words. If you try to be too unique with your format, you're an idiot, but you might get along with our poetry editor. Before you submit to our poetry editor, we highly recommend that you understand at least nine percent of the pre-existing forms, or somewhere in the shallow thirty percent of scansion. Otherwise, our editors are all extremely fleshy-headed and neurotic. You might be best off submitting to one of the other spots.
