Work is chosen at the start of June, September and March for editions published on 1 September, 1 December and 25 May, respectively Stories generally attract, at current rates, a fee of £100, and essays and creative nonfiction pieces, £170 We currently pay £28/poem. The majority of articles in New Welsh Review are specially commissioned by the editor, but if you have a proposal please email a brief synopsis (300 words maximum) in the first instance to the editor
