Infocalypse is a cyberpunk-inspired arts and literary magazine publishing work at the intersection of literature, speculative thought, and real-world systems. We’re interested in writing that engages with structure, scale, and the conditions that shape voice.

The magazine draws from alternative culture, speculative fiction, and real-world science. Think Snow Crash mashed with old issues of Omni and Analog, with a trace of Heavy Metal and the DIY zine ethos of a 1980s photocopied publication. In other words: high theory, low toner, and a persistent risk of existential vertigo.

Infocalypse is an independent magazine published quarterly in January, April, July, and October as a digital A4 magazine.

As a lead-up to Issue 3 this July, Infocalypse will begin immediately featuring selected work on our website through our ongoing Prologue series. We think of the Prologue as the gala before the theatre opens: an early unveiling of voices, images, and ideas that gesture toward the larger world of the issue still to come. Featured contributors will receive a dedicated post on our site accompanied by an author bio.
We welcome poetry, short stories, fiction, non-fiction and experimental media.

Our approach to reviews is not bound to the present moment.
We welcome reviews of books, poetry collections, films, concerts, exhibitions, and live performances, whether they were released yesterday or ten years ago.
Revisit a forgotten album. Watch a film everyone has stopped talking about. Rave about an exquisite book that no one noticed. We want criticism that excavates, reconsiders, reinterprets, and reanimates past work, not just criticism that chases the newest release cycle.
New work is absolutely welcome. We just also believe the past is still making noise.
