Green Splotches is a poetry webzine created to promote the writing and publication of speculative poetry. We are looking to uplift new voices and publish works by established artists. We are especially interested in the work of traditionally marginalized creators.

  • Additional info

Green Splotches seeks submissions of original speculative or genre-bending poetry. We are looking to uplift new voices and publish works by established artists. We are interested in promoting awareness of speculative poetry and uplifting the voices of those traditionally excluded from the mainstream of Science Fiction/Fantasy publishing. This includes queer, BIPOC, and femme-identifying artists and writers. We publish and accept submissions on a rolling basis. We aim to respond in roughly two weeks. If you haven’t heard from us by then, please email us. Unfortunately, we are a free publication and receive no income from this publication we offer no compensation. (However, we firmly believe that artists should be paid for their work and are looking into ways to change this.)
