We are interested in the relationships between writers and artists. Pitch writing that responds to the work of someone you know (a friend, an enemy, a lover) whose practice includes performance. Upload in a PDF that also includes your instagram handle or website.<div><br></div><div>Interpret 'art criticism' broadly - we want to print interviews with artists, theoretical essays and reviews along with poetry and fiction that responds directly the work. We are open to a range of styles but prefer to print pieces that approach writing about art atypically. Keep art-speak to a minimum.</div><div><br></div><div>We pay all writers.</div><div><br></div><div>You do not need to obtain the artists permission to submit writing about them. We will contact the artist if your piece if chosen for publication and ask for their permission to publish images of their work if you have not already done so. They do not need to submit a separate application.</div>
