Formatting
Send your work as a PDF. Include your name and contact information on the first page. Number the pages. Use a common, 12-point font. Please double-space fiction. Prose poetry may be single-spaced.
Author's rights
If your work is accepted for publication, we ask for first-time publication rights and the right to retain the work in our archives. If republished elsewhere, please credit -ette review.
Additional info
-ette is a tiny operation of two, so unfortunately, we cannot offer payment at this time. All writers we publish, however, will receive the original of the drawing that accompanies their piece. We're active on social media and will be nominating our writers' work for awards. Each issue of the magazine has a companion podcast, pod-ette.

We love gorgeous prose, writing that arcs strange, and small-form work. -ette is seasonal, small, and publishes flash fiction, micro, and prose poetry.
