The Woodshop: writers reveal their workspaces, and thoughts about their practice. Long Way From, Long Time Since: your letters to writers, living or dead; short pieces that explore correspondence as a creative form. Payment. We do offer a cash honorarium of $50 per poem and visual art piece and $150 per prose piece (story, essay, interview, etc.), in addition to three contributor's copies for all work published in print.

We publish two print issues a year of compelling poetry, fiction, and literary nonfiction by established writers and new voices alike. We're global in scope, but with a regional bias.
