A nonprofit literary arts organization that was started in Greenwich Village, NYC in 1994 to provide community outreach and host literary events featuring emerging and established poets. Since 1998, after nonprofit incorporation, we have published Barrow Street.

Submissions may be made for free from Dec. 1 until Dec. 15. Dec. 15-March 31, there is a $3 charge per submission, or for a $10 charge, you may submit your poems AND receive a 1-year subscription to our annual journal. Barrow Street pays two contributors' copies.
