One of the very cool things about the internet (as opposed to the many just okay or terrible things) is that it makes starting a literary magazine relatively accessible. Like, maybe something just one person could do. Here are six magazines edited and published by (approximately) one person. Coincidentally, or maybe not, most of these magazines publish primarily flash and poetry, and have very fast response times. For writers, these magazines can be amazing because they are formed out of the editorial vision of a singular person, and if that vision fits your work you might find a magazine that can become a regular home for you (and at the very least, a mag you love to read).
