The Prize is sponsored by the Dennis Myner Trust which supports Morrab Library in its charitable work. In the adults' category prizes are: £2000; £1000, and £500! In the children's categories: ages 4-11 & 12-17, prizes are £75, £50, £25 and £150, £100, £50 respectively. Best sonnet receives £1500.
