Mei Backof
She/her | grant-funded horror freak
Mei Backof is more scared of you than you are of her. A strange and crooked animal, her writing veers grotesque and shies from cleanness. She's got a bad case of mold growing in her brain. More professionally, Mei is an Isabel Sparks President's Award winner, and is developing a horror short story and essay collection entitled "Bitter-Milk Drunk." She was one of Santa Clara University's two Canterbury Scholars, and is currently a Creative Writing MSc student at the University of Edinburgh.
